PRC Individual Income Tax Updates
Dear members,
We have seen a number of new regulations relating to individual income tax issued by the China tax authorities during 2009 and in early 2010, e.g. the China tax authorities repeals the separate monthly salary treatment for double salaries, modifies the individual Income tax treatment of directors' fees, the taxation of enterprise annuity, etc.

About Speaker/关于讲者:
Rebecca Lai,Director of PwC International Assignment Services
Rebecca is a tax director based in Beijing. She has 13 years of professional experience in expatriate tax compliance and advisory.
She started her career with Legacy Andersen in Hong Kong and gained her experience in PRC, Hong Kong and US personal taxation. She joined PwC Beijing office in August 2002 and has been focusing on international assignment management, advisory on tax effective compensation and benefit structure, equity compensation, cross-border taxation and immigration services.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Rebecca is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Associate Member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also holds professional certificate (GPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management in the U.S.
